ZOOM MEDIATIONS

During this difficult period of social isolation and remote working TIERNAN MEDIATION is conducting mediations via ZOOM.  

The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

In Summary:-

• The Plaintiff participates in the mediation as if it was a face to face mediation,

• The Plaintiff is placed in a breakout room and not exposed to the Defendant,

• After the Joint Session the parties are placed in Breakout Rooms,

• In the Breakout Rooms the participants can confer privately and confidentially,

• The parties in Breakout Rooms can ask for the Mediator at any time by clicking the “Ask for Help” Button,

• The parties can use the “Share Documents” function to share documents, photos and videos,

• The parties can also draft, settle and virtually sign, documents such as Terms of Settlement,

• The ZOOM connection is secure, private and confidential and ZOOM has continued to implement security improvements,

• After commencement my ZOOM meetings are “closed” by me,

• I do not allow the recording of either the session or the chats undertaken in the meeting
